German government demands new vaccine without mercury and squalene

The German government has ordered pharmaceutical companies to produce a new H1N1 swine flu vaccine that dont contain the hazardous mercury and the adjuvant squalene.

German Health Ministry demands that the new swine flu vaccine have to be without the adjuvant squalene, because of the serous side effects it causes.

The demand comes after a growing opposition in Germany over the dangerous H1N1 vaccine.

The head of the German association for children's doctors, Wolfram Hartmann, says that the German government shouldn't have ordered swine flu vaccines with mercury and adjuvants for children especially.

The pharma industry is arguing that the mercury is necessary because multi dose vials are being used instead of single injections.
